Whichever tooth is damaged, a hole is made in the crown of that tooth,
The pulp (tooth pulp) is removed from the hole drilled into the tooth and the root canals are cleaned to make room for root filling,
During root canal treatment, if more than one session is needed for filling, the gap opened is closed with temporary filling.
When it comes to the last session, the temporary filling material is removed from the canal and closed with a permanent filling. In this process, a tapered rubber material called “Gutta percha” is placed separately in the canals and then closed with cement. If necessary, a metal or plastic rod can be placed in the tooth canal.
